Goal: Fix the most common causes when Stripe appears connected but payments fail or are disabled.

Where: Settings → Stripe and your Stripe dashboard.

Steps

  1. Open SettingsStripe and confirm status is connected/complete (not “needs action”).

  1. In Stripe, check for requirements (identity verification, business details, bank account).

  1. Check for restrictions or “payments disabled” notices in Stripe.
  2. If you changed country/business type, re-check all required fields in Stripe onboarding.
  3. Disconnect/reconnect Stripe only if requirements are complete and status is still stale.

Notes

Stripe can require additional verification at any time. Completing requirements is the fastest path to restoring payments.
